my aunt asked me to dog sit thurs - sunday. I agreed of course. but now i remember big brother starts tomorrow. so this means i will barely be able to watch let alone screencap the feeds.
I barely use her computer while i am at her house. times like these i wish i had a laptop.
I need me a sugar daddy to hook me up with a laptop lol

my cousin had her Graduation/birthday party at their lake house yesterday.
that was ... um well an event to put it mildly.
The day started out well we got there at like 3:30 maybe. left later than we wanted but oh well.
When we got there Helen, Chloe, and Emma were on the golfcart and wanted me to go with them. We had literally just pulled up and I wanted to say hello to everyone. So they left and I didn't see them for a long time. I went swimming in the lake. Hung out with my cousin Bryon and his girlfriend Allyson. on this huge raft thing my aunt bought.
Of course we ate. Heard it was going to rain... I was on the phone with a friend and he said that it wouldn't reach us for a couple hours or so so my cousin Caroline and I went back in the water for awhile.
I got out maybe 20 mins before it started to rain. I was sitting on the dock with Bryon, Caroline, and Allyson talking and we felt drops. We ended up going to sit on the boat. Sat out there for a loooong time took some great pics of the sunsetting.
There was some drama won't get into in this post... BUT I am sure I will throw a friends only post in and talk about it.
My Mom's dad was there (no this wasn't cause for the drama) but I didn't talk to him. Honestly I had planned on calling him Mr.M(fill in the rest of his last name) instead of calling him grandpa.
But he didn't say anything to me and I didn't say anything to him. I walked past him quite a few times.

today has been busy, it seems like this week is so busy and yet it's only Tuesday.. ok now it's Wednesday since it's almost 2:30am
Today I watched the kids. Liam was a holy terror. I had to help Chloee with her thank you cards that she needed to send to the people who went to her birthday party Saturday.
Well Liam I don't know if it's cus i had to spend time with Chloee and help her and he's used to getting my full attention since most times it's me and him in the afternoons. It also could have been that it was hot outside and we were cooped up inside the house.
Chloee had just bought a slinky today with a gift card she got from her birthday.... well Liam already ruined it while we were busy doing the cards.
finally he settled a little bit then we finished the cards and went to watch Chloee's new scooby doo movies.
Hopefully thursday will be a little better.

Tonight mom and I had eye appointments. my prescription hasn't changed much and the doc said that my astigmatism has gotten better. so i am kinda jazzed about that. I mean i have worn glass/contacts since i was in first grade and usually the news is that my eyes have gotten worse.
Granted my eyes have not really changed much in the past 4 years at least... so that's good.
I didn't order contacts yet since the doc said there are new contacts out and she wants to try a pair or two before i commit to anything... which is good since the new contacts are made differently and she wants to see how my eyes react to them.
We also talked about macular degeneration which my maternal grandfather has and my mom's brother was diagnosed with a couple years ago. I am kinda worried about that. She said that my eyes looked great and to make sure i take a multivitamin and some omega 3 vitamins and to always always always wear sunglasses outside. UV from the sun is a contributor to macular degeneration.
Mom's prescription hasn't changed much either and she ordered new glasses. she wanted to make sure she gets them before mom and dad go on vacation so she can get used to them before she has to go back to work. the frames she picked out are really nice.

Then we went to dinner just stopped at portillo's since it's near the tanning salon. we had awhile to wait to go tan so we ended up shopping. i got a couple pairs of capri's shorts and some leggings. i have to say... the only reason i am glad they are bringing back some 80's fashions are the leggings finally the good leggings that i missed when the 80's were over. i LIVED in leggings back in the day. so i got 4 pairs they were on sale 2 for 15 bucks. I couldn't really find any tops i liked though so i only came home with one top. I really need some summer tops though. I hardly ever go shopping in the summer so most of my cute tops are longer sleeved.

then we went to tan.

tomorrow I think we are going to stop over at my brother's to visit with them. Haven't seen them much lately. I saw my SIL and the baby at the wedding shower last week but i didnt visit with them much since i was wandering talking to everyone.
Last i heard my brother and SIL and the baby were going camping this weekend but they aren't now or something so maybe they will go to the graduation party for my cousin up at my aunt's lake house.
I am kinda excited about the party. I am really thinking of swimming i LOVE to swim. which will be good since then i wont have to do makeup or hair since it'll just get ruined by the water anyway.

Ok this is kinda what's going on in my life this week. I am tired now so i think i might actually try to sleep... unless i get distracted by something and stay up lol

Where has the time gone?? I mean this year has gone by so fast.
I know i haven't written a bunch in awhile I blame twitter. BUT i really haven't had much to say.
Nothing much has been going on in my life.
The past two weeks we've had my brother's dogs here since they are on vacation.
I got the invite to my cousin's wedding shower (you all know how much i hate those) The wedding is in August.
I really need to do laundry, I should be doing it today.. and I may end up doing it in a few. This week will be busy tomorrow and thursday i a going to be watching the kids but i'll have Evan too and Wed I have to go to my brothers to watch Evan since my brother has a side job going on, working with his friend painting.
So I should have new pics to share
oh crap i don't think i ever posted pics of my brother's wedding did i? whoops I need to do that too.
Mom and I are going to start tanning this week. So at least i will have some color.

Ok i am gonna start doing some laundry need some clean clothes. Gotta plan the wardrobe for the week.

Yesterday was my nephew's christening.
I have pics i need to upload I wanted to get some of him in the christening gown since it's a family heirloom.
it's such a pretty dress. it was made out of my grandma and great aunt's communion gowns for my great uncle when he was being christened.
I have to say Evan was really good he really didnt cry even when he was getting goop on his head lol
he fussed a few times but he was pretty good.
the party was fun we had a great time. then after the party we went to my other brother's house to pick up the dogs since he and my sister in law left this morning for 2 weeks.
They are going to arizona and california. this is kinda their honeymoon. even though most of it will be spent with her family. it's still 13 days away from home work and all that stuff.
I am happy they left cus we get the poochies.
I miss these little boogers.
all 3 of them have colds so they are on medicine for that. They only have a few more days on it but to hear them cough makes me sad. I hate seeing the babies sick.
Oh yea yesterday at the party... kevin's dog Hershey she ended up eating brownies and even got cake. all of a sudden she came up from the basement and she had blue frosting on her chin. she also had some strudel. needless to say she got sick. frickin dog lol i love her but she can be a huge pain in the ass. i wish i would have gotten pics of her chin with the frosting on it. cus she came upstairs and was all like nothin happened lol

Hey everyone,
Yesterday was good. Yesterday was my 33rd birthday. By all miracles my one brother called me and wished me a happy birthday. My other brother was invited to have dinner here so he knew it was my birthday lol But he Gayle and Evan came over to dinner. Ev was a tad grumpy and cried. I have a nickname for him. I call him Mr Serious since he always has a serious stern look on his face and i don't see him smile that often. I need to get him a t shirt made.
My parents went to iowa today they will not be home til monday tomorrow is their 34 anniversary. So i had my anniversary card and mother's day card for them before they left.
I am having myself an OC marathon. I am finishing season 4 then i am gonna watch them all over again. I've been watching the reruns on soapnet and they are just ending season 3 and starting season 4 but on tuesday i went and bought all 4 seasons on dvd since they were on sale for 18.99 for each season at best buy. I really wanted the face boxed set thing BUT... at 150 dollars it was out of my price range on tuesday ( ishould have waited cus i got some extra money for my birthday and could have bought it... honestly maybe i will and give the seasons i just bought to one of my younger cousins who likes the show... who knows)
Honestly this weekend I have no desire to remove myself from my bed. it's been kind of a long week had some drama to deal with. all is well now for the moment at least.
Did i ever tell you guys i had a tumblr account??? I dont know if any of you are on there but if you are i would LOVE to follow you there. i use mine mainly as a photo blog kind of thing i post lots of pictures and sometimes music stuff that i know if i kept posting here everyone would kill me lol

i'm not really worried. I guess i treat it like every other flu season. I try to avoid those who are sick so i don't get sick. I don't want to be sick swine flu or regular flu.

Mom and i went to pick up her dress. they altered it for her at Von Maur. she tried it on again and it looks fabulous.
she bought these BEAUTIFUL earrings from Macy's they were half off but still really expensive. They will go so nicely with her dress I will have to try to take a pic of them. I doubt a pic will do them justice though. She's doing here hair partly up so her ears will be exposed. Instead of buying a necklace AND earrings she just got these earrings.
Since we were at macy's i hit lush i got aqua marina cleanser and vanillary solid perfume. i like having solid perfumes for casual days i can throw them in my purse and stuff i have a philosophy one pure grace that i should put in my purse but it's in my makeup bag that i don't take with me all the time. then i went to sephora since it was right across from macy's and i got korres primer. I am really trying to go more natural with my makeup and stuff i put on my face. the Korres stuff is silicone free and i have to say not that badly priced. I bought MUFE's all mat and it was 40 dollars for 1.01 fl oz and the Korres stuff is 28.00 for 1.01 fl oz. I want to try it before my brother's wedding just so i can see how I will like it.
I am doing my mom's makeup for the wedding so i need to figure out what i am doing on her. she's got that awesome formal gown I am thinking i want to do a smokey eye on her but I think i want to use a dark purple or something i want something besides using grey's.
we are staying the night at the hotel the night before the wedding so we are getting ready there so i will not have my full arsenal of stuff at my fingertips so i need to plan ahead. I might actually do a makeup tryout on her this week before thursday since we will probably be busy thursday night getting stuff ready for friday's rehersal and all that crap.
i am wearing a black white and red top soo my makeup options are kinda limited i will probably just do a smokey eye in browns. I will probably be bringng all my brushes since i am doin mom's makeup i don't wanna mix colors so i will need all the tools i can bring.
I also need to test to see if we can share the same foundation i think her skintone is close to mine. I do have a powder foundation in a tone a tad lighter than mine though so if worse comes to worse i can use a bit of that.my mom doesn't have oily skin like mine so she's lucky there and her makeup will stay put all day (especially with a primer under)
Mom wears glasses so i really do want her eyes to stand out even behind the frames. i hope she still has that longwearing lippie from kevin's wedding that will come in handy it's a neutral tone so it won't clash with anything.

ok i kinda rambled lol we also hit kohl's i ended up gettng a pair of flip flops and a pair of heels for the wedding. I was looking for a black pair but then these candy apple red shiney things hit my attention and OMG they are awesome.
they did not have an 8-1/2 i had to get a 9 which is a little bit too big but i am gonna buy insoles or whatever to try to make them fit a bit better. I think since i will be on my feet a lot having the larger size will kinda help.
I think i am gonna wear the red shoes friday night too I was gonna wear another pair of shoes but i am also wearing a black white and red top for the rehersal dinner and i think those pumps will look FABULOUS with my dark blue jeans and that top.

I am probably showing my age but ATARI had some GREAT games. bowling, pinball, tank attack, space invaders, asteroids.
NES had some great games too super mario brothers, duck hunt, zelda omg loved zelda, Mike tyson's punch out
Gameboy was tetris OMG LOVE i even have it for my DS and DSi
Super NES had Fzero love that game, super mario brothers 3
we had sega too i just remember the sonic game oh god now i can't think of the game's name not sure if that was sega or NES but it had this horrible movie made from the game. I kicked total ass at that game

ok my brother got our plans for easter dinner changed now we are going out to dinner. I really wanted to stay at home it's nicer to visit in a house than at a restaurant. So shortly i need to get in the shower and start the tedious task of getting ready. (which takes me a couple of hours between hair and makeup and all that jazz)
I was looking forward to trying this cherry and port glaze for the ham we bought, and making homemade lasagna, but noooo now i need to get all dressed up and go out.
Normally I wouldnt mind i guess but Easter we usually do at home. I wanted to spend time with the baby cus as soon as the meal is done everyone goes home it's not like if we had dinner here. Heck i dion't even know if the Kevin and Gayle are gonna bring the baby with them.
So i probably won't have any new pics of the kid to show ya since I hate taking pics in a restaurant lol I always feel like a goob whipping out my camera.
Maybe if i do good makeup you will get a FOTD from me though i am trying new foundation well a sample i have of Make Up For Ever's HD foundation I need to see if i like this foundation so i can buy it before the wedding since i am sure i'll be in pics.

the camera on the inside is where the mic was on the DS lite. The Mic is right next to the camera. (and the speakers are much better on the DSi. the sound is louder too.

hhm hard to pick just one, when i was a kid we'd go to daytona beach each year those were always great. I'd probably have to say my brother's wedding in colorado. now that was a fun vacation even though we were only there for 5 days. we did quite a bit and we did have a great time.
