what i like about this is the scent stays with you after your shower BUT now i need the body splash since i don't have a perfume to layer with this scent.

this coming saturday we are going to dinner. Our family usually goes out to dinner for birthdays and stuff but this year we really haven't so Mom suggested we go to dinner just to kinda celebrate everyone's birthday.
and another random off topic thing I have been jazzed to be able to buy some more Miami glow. This is one of my absolute fave perfumes. Of course it was discontinued. I have a big bottle stockpiled and i had a 1.7 bottle that i didn't use much i saw miami glow at walgreens and my mom suggested buying it for my stocking for christmas i of course said YES then we went back to walgreens the other day and the one cashier that checked us out the last time said she saw something i'd like and she went to the gift set aisle and brought out a miami glow gift set with a 1oz bottle of the perfume and a bronzing powder for 22 dollars so i was like HELL YEA and i bought it for myself so on top of the 1 oz bottle my mom got me for my stocking and the 1 oz bottle i bought myself i have enough for a little while. I will still continue to stock pile (and keep the extra bottles in cool dark areas so they will not change on me. HOPEFULLY i can find another huge bottle somewhere when we are shopping cus i'd like to get another big bottle. Or even better if they would just bring it back so i wouldn't have to do all this stockpiling.
Please Jennifer i really hate most things about you and your other perfumes but bring back my miami glow its the only thing with your name on it that i will EVER buy.

I of course made the mistake of walking thru the perfume gift set area.
they had a tommy bahama perfume set with 3 .5fl oz perfumes in it, which I immediately grabbed like it was the last twinkie on a planet with no food.

I already have a huge bottle of SSSB but a mini bottle is great for throwing in a purse or leaving at someome's house if i ever have an actual boyfriend.
Set Sail South Seas is fucking fantastic. I so need a big bottle of this. Hopefully I can find one for myself when i have some extra cash.
The signature scent is pretty I have to put it on my skin i just sprayed it on a piece of paper to smell it. I smell lots of honeysuckle which I do like.
But of course before i decide if i want a full bottle i need to wear it see how it is on me.
I am still looking for something to take the place of my beloved Miami Glow when i run out

I did buy a room spray Fresh Bamboo which i am now in love with. It's so fresh and green. They are cheap too.
I bought a couple body splashes too

How I Think I Smell
I like the smell of perfume. A simple timeless pleasure of things that smell good. However, like many things, once I start to think about a little, the simplicity has a tendency to evaporate at the speed of citrus top notes.
The complexity starts with a problem of over indulgence; I am fortunate enough to possess many bottles. The catch is that with the rich diversity in my cupboard comes a very modern dilemma: options are too many, criteria too few (or to put it another way: which shall I wear today and why?)
Part of my solution is not to wear them. I like to sniff perfumes direct from the bottle or from a blotter; spraying toilet paper is a favourite method. This allows me to indulge in sensual pleasure without the commitment of a whole day of smelling of it. It also seems to reveal the detail so much more clearly than a remote sniff captured floating up from skin. It allows me to unpick the accords and how they relate to each other, to really absorb the transitions from top through middle to base. I can appreciate the craft, the progression, the depth, the balance, the beauty, the detail and the gestalt.

But it was buy one get one half off for the signature collection stuff... soooo i got two i never bought b4.
I may be going back on monday i have a coupon for a free signature collection product with any purchase of 10 dollars or more... so i may get the brown sugar and fig body splash and the freshwater cucumber scent I saw something of that scent being discontinued on the B&BW site.
I also bought CO Bigelow extra light face lotion moisturizer i was almost out of mine and i want to try something new.

ok i normally do not buy stuff by E.Arden But while shopping at kohls i saw they had a new summer perfume and i spritzed some on my wrist and i really loved it. My mom even loved it. I like to sniff new summer perfumes since i am still looking for one to use after my beloved Miami Glow is gone (which i use so sparingly it's not even funny)
