"August 26, 1920, the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution became law, and women could vote in the fall elections, including in the Presidential election"
I was gonna post this whole thing but i figured i'd just post a teeny tiny part and if you want to read about it you can IF you don't know about it you should.
Not sure if any of you have seen the HBO movie Iron-Jawed Angels it's about the fight for women's right to vote. If you haven't seen it you should it's a GREAT movie. Every woman should know what these women did for us.
Don't let these women down remember to vote in this upcoming election. It's sooo important not to squander the right these women fought so hard and long for.
I meant to post something about this earlier but I got to doing other things.
