9x13 inch pan
First layer
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 can (3-1/2 ounces) flaked coconut
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Second layer
1/2 cup butter
3 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons vanilla flavored pudding mix
2 cups confectioners sugar
Third layer
1 package (6 ounces) semi sweet chocolate pieces
4 teaspoons butter
Place 1/2 cup butter,sugar,cocoa and vanilla in top of a double boiler. Cook until blended. Add 1 egg cook 5 mins longer, stirring constantly. Add crumbs,coconut and nuts. Press into 9x13 inch pan. Let stand for 15 mins. Cream butter until light and fluffy. Mix milk and dry pudding mix. Add butter and mix well. Add sugar gradually, beat until smooth. Spread over first layer. Refrigerate for 15 mins or until firm. Melt chocolate and butter, cool slightly. Spread over second layer. Store in refrigerator until serving time. Cut into squares and top with pecan half if you wish.
